I actually almost forgot all the things that happend to after the break-in and the lost of my green turtles. I even forget the order that the unfortunate events happend. Let’s see … the lift or the turtle?
Think it’s the lift first. Why the lift? Well, 1 day after the break-in, I got trapped for a good 1/2 hour in the lift of my apartment. *Sigh* Think this will never happend to you? Think again.
Nowdays, so many of us actually live in tall Apartment and Condos as well as worked in tall Office buildings that the chances of each of us getting trapped in the lift because of some technical problem is really high! Maybe as high as 10-15%. That’s once every 10-15 times you take the lift up and down some building.
The worst case scenario will be when you call for help and the bell doesn’t ring or your phone’s battery died.
Trust me. When you managed to get out of the lift, the first light when the lift’s door open is the most beautifil lights that you’ll see in your life. Even much more beautiful than the ones in KLCC.
