The week started without much thing anything different from the previous week.
Still taking train from Chinese Garden Station every morning. My daily 10 minutes of exercise and ariving at Raffles Place 45 minutes later for work.
Since I’ll be going back to office to work on this Sunday, what would be better than to have a typical energy packed breakfast in Singapore.
A local coffee, 2 slices of kaya butter toast bread & 2 half cooked egg.
I prefer to have my breakkfast at the Jurong East Cafe food court. There’s less people & are less congested compared to the other 2 food courts.
Then off I go to office thru the usual Jurong East Station & spend the rest of the evening in office trying to clear as much work as possible. Had this Soft-Shelled Crab pasta at the Coffee Club during the week. Looks good but it’s really not. They have great dishes but I really wonder who come out with this. The crab is totally not fresh at all & the sauce & pasta combination is horrible. Was very hungry then so didn’t bother to complain.
Think the super sized 1 tonne noodle that I got from the coffee shop in KL taste much better than the soft-shelled crab.
Also meet up with my brother at Sembawang to have grill steak and beer for dinner at one of hill top restaurant there. Can’t remember the name of the resturant but it’s located at a former club house just next to the Sun Plaza at Sembawang. Reasonable price and decent food. Nothing to complain about the mix platter that I had.
By the way, that’s the grilled pork rib that my brother is having. I forgot to take mine.
Looking to the end of the comming weekend cause I’ll be heading back to KL by train (for the first time in 15 years). The last time I took a long distance train is when I’m around 12-13 years old. Never took any long distance train from that age onwards. It’s all about driving.
That’s how the 2nd Class Sleping coach looked like.
Went to Daiso at IMM Mall to hunt for 2 dollar bargains. Nothing new to shop for this week.
Went to Cash Converters to search for bargain movies. The VCD movies are usually sold for SG$4 each while DVD movies are usually sold for SG$8 or more.
Got 2 new titles, Stardust & Narnia : Prince Caspian.
Back in KL, I got hold of a simple & cheap (only RM5) SD Gunpla to make. Compared to the Master Grade Green Frame (which is still in it’s box) that I got earlier, this is very much easier to install & colour.
Don’t know which SD series does it belongs to but it does look cute & small emough to be carried aound when I’m done with it. Will make it next week. I’ll probably try to get some nice acrylic colours from Daiso later to colour it. They are selling it lately.
